Ryuji Takasu lives in a falling-down residence with his mother, and although being a nice guy is cursed with the evil appearance of his father inflicting human beings to avoid him. Taiga Aisaka is a tiny, self-targeted and all-at-once sturdy female who lives in a new rental next to Ryuji however has no concept of how to take care of herself. Ryuji seems after her, cooking and cleaning for her and acting as her dog while they each attempt to help each other with their love life.
